AEM invites NY Art Trinity in this year and July guest is Enrico. Enrico Miguel Thomas is a New York City painter and illustrator, working primarily in watercolors. In 2006, he graduated from Pratt Institute with a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree. After graduating, Enrico’s ambition was to create a body of work called 'Drawing Paintings' - combining the technical skill of draughtsmanship with the beauty of painting. Influenced by architecture and artists, Norman Rockwell, Edward Hopper and Wassily Kandinsky, Enrico blends everyday life scenes with a methodological emphasis on architectural detail. Enrico has been featured in a Sharpie US commercial, and has received positive reviews from the New York Times. He has also taught children’s workshops at The New York Transit Museum and aspires to open an art center for underprivileged and abused children. Notable collectors include Kayvan Hakim, Terri Lichstein of ABC, Bill & Gui Stampur, Howard Wolfson, Matt Weiner, Virginia Easley Johnson, David Scott, Misty Copeland, Sharon Spanetti and Richard Corman.
